What’s in my wallet
30 November 2007
I read tulipfleurs to see what she’s eating. Today, she showed us what’s in her wallet. Here’s what’s in mine:
Starting at 12:00 and working clockwise….
- 105 kuai and 6 jiao; about $20.36 according to today’s exchange 1:7.3… stupid USD!
- Receipt for I don’t know what, but it’s 28 kuai, so I’m turning it in.
- ATM card, transit card (works on subway, buses, taxis)….
- Stack of my own business cards….
- Cigarette case/wallet….
- My sister’s business card, in case of emergency….
- Business card for the place in Pudong where we have trivia every Thursday; I got the card because I keep forgetting what to tell the taxi drivers.
That cash is the last of what I can spend until payday. I hope I make it!

Hello John! Yes, I remember that “ube” pix.
So, you’re living in Shanghai now? Thanks for sharing what’s in your wallet. Anyhoo, keep in touch and I’ll do the same. Take care!
